My religious path as of 2/01/2025
And a bit about being healthy where I live as well. Along with stories about some bad experiences I got myself into in the mid-2010s.
I made the effort recently to respond to a fellow Tom Woods Show Elite user right after the bells went at Hogmanay in as much detail as possible before having to sleep at 2am considering the fireworks were still going off towards that time (I don’t recall there being so many big boomy types being set off at once even in the few hours leading up to Midnight on Hogmanay) when he sent a link to a video lecture given by the late Bishop Fulton Sheen in 1979 on being aware of the Devil’s presence in your life. It’s fair to say that, for all the mocking that Preachers, Bishops, Priests, Pastors and Ministers get on TV as well as the internet, Bishop Sheen was quite spot on for his take back then about how the Church itself, no matter what angles they come from, has ended up in the current predicament that we all see today with what I’ll explain later on. To a moderate extent, I did say I felt for him when it comes to the blackpilling and trying to dedicate our lives to God, family & a community of like-minded souls instead of trying too much to change literally everything only via the means of politics in elections, as much as I still believe to a small extent in some hope taking place. I've been following this YouTube channel called Richard The Fourth since November last year and he does sum up the solution to everything quite well which does ride similar to the theme that Dr Steve Turley has been campaigning on for many years on his channel, that we need a spiritual rebirth of Western Civilization in order for Natural Order to be restored as well as ensuring we have freedom & liberty to balance things out in a community of very like-minded decent people. I looked at a poll taken of nearly 1800 adults in Scotland that was referenced by The National newspaper which is basically Scotland's equivalent of The Guardian except they ultimately tow the line of the ruling SNP but still act in a progressive manner and if things are to be taken at face value, the vast majority of people would still want to vote for the SNP, Green Party & some minor pro-Indy parties like the ALBA Party to retain the vast majority of seats for MSPs in the Scottish parliament come the early May 2026, even if Reform UK manages to pick up some seats to the ire of the Scottish Conservative Party. Really? After all the shenanigans we've had to go through since arguably the mid-2010s including the woke Agenda pushed on us still nowadays along with the Green Agenda and the Covid Lockdowns & medical restrictions of 2020-2022, many Scots still want more of this?! When it comes to voting for alternatives in the next scheduled elections, let alone several by-elections that have passed by for the last few years too, there are sadly too many small liberty-minded alternative parties that keep on standing in these elections on the main issues that the other big parties & the mainstream press never talk about but to the detriment of the Freedom Movement whose vote always ends up being split. For a while, these parties did talk to each other to see who could stand where so that there wouldn't be any more collisions but as of last year, decided to throw the gentlemen's agreement out of the window, along with Reform UK never communicating with any of them at all, which has made us go back to Square 1. It's sad that many people here in the majority populace still think there should be 'limits' of every kind to Free Speech, don't believe in trying to hold their schools accountable for the increasingly perverted things being taught to their offspring (let alone completely look down on the concept of Homeschooling), think that the war in Ukraine should escalate to the point of WW3 even if gas itself becomes ever more expensive in the long run, that we should not have a natural right to physically defend ourselves against violent criminals even if the police are dysfunctional & officer numbers get cut, that all the Covid lockdowns & medical restrictions rom 2020-2022 were for our own good even if they obviously oppressed others, that we should take in all migrants including the illegals even if our natural resources & land to build houses on gets used up & we get told to change increasingly many parts of our culture or else we get branded Racist for daring to complain about it, that we should continue to pay the mandatory TV Licence Fee even if the BBC is biased but we must continue to do so if it means watching the Football or Strictly live, that we must submit ourselves to the EU even if it actually is authoritarian and we must have the Green Agenda go ahead even if it means no longer owning cars in future, no longer being able to heat our homes and being forced to eat the bugs & put up with our failing public transport. It's also frustrating from my personal experiences of seeing many of the churches here also go along with the establishment line on many issues instead of challenging them which tends to be extremely rare. Didn't I also forget to mention that we also have increased figures on suicide as well as alcohol & drug related problems in the whole of the UK? These realities would really make the likes of WhatIfAlthist think we are on a trajectory of cultural suicide just like how he observed things take place in the likes of CA, OR, WA, PA, MT, NYC, Chicago, etc, except we blindly believe doing these things is all 'for our own good' or something along those lines.
From when I got accelerated in the red-pilling process from 2016 onwards since the Brexit vote results came out, I took turning to God for prayers a lot more seriously not just to get guidance and use the energy through the power of prayer to help awaken the masses to what is happening but also to gain guidance on what to do with my life since I came out of College in Glasgow with good grades in Civil Engineering on a National Certificate (NC) but had a bad social experience which gave me so much in the way of more anxiety & depression that it impacted my sleeping habits which still impacts me to this very present day. I also admittedly had insecurities which built up even more since that time of which I started investing it in volunteer litter picking in mid-August 2014 but still did little to heal it which, from wanting to know the truth about my bad experience of life so desperately, got me into a few bad situations which thankfully didn't escalate any further. The first of which involved me filming a man letting his dog defecate on the grass beside the cycling path in Renton & I got a bit confrontational with him to which he told me to F--- off and I quickly cycled off. I posted the footage onto my YouTube Channel to then hand it over to the council who the next day sent someone over to my house to say that not only would they try to find out who it was in the footage but that I had to take it down for fears of my own safety even though I didn't film myself. I wanted to stand up and say No but my supportive parents forced me to do it fearing for their safety too. Thank goodness I didn’t go any further with that incident when I look back on it with such embarrassment. Then I got myself into another embarrassing situation in 2015 when I was cycling on my way back to the house and nearing it when I noticed a white cup on the road beside a black sports car where a young male driver was in it blaring loud Eminem music (one of his songs did speak about Domestic Violence and did included the lyrics 'B--- you better not f--- with me') and I wrongly in my tiredness assumed that he threw the cup from his window so I cycled back to where he was in a queue near a road junction in town and I threw the cup in his window. This got him very angry and he burst out of the car demanding he challenge me to a 'square go' (Scots slang for Fight) in the nearby park but quickly backed down when he realised that everyone else was staring at him. I made an even more embarrassing mistake afterwards in dialling 999 to phone the police to report the incident considering my adrenaline was going through the roof at the time. The officers who visited the house gave me a huge telling off and very luckily did not charge me with a crime considering that the act of throwing the cup back in the driver's window was Common Assault and that this driver was known to police before for violent aggressive offences, hence they needed 2 officers at the minimum for each visit to his house. The only reason they didn't bring about the charges was because I didn't have a criminal record, was raised in a good family and actively helped the community by litter picking anyway. When I look back on both of these incidents, they were very regrettable and actually should not have happened. If I could, I should ideally meet up with the man from 2015, shake his hand and personally apologise to him over my part in that event. I realise that there are other ways to dealing with the problem of dog fouling than just completely relying on authority to do the job and thinking residents should become wannabe-stasi-informants. I know the mention of these 2 incidents in my life will no doubt shock you but then again, for reasons about to be highlighted in the next paragraph, we as humans all fall short of God’s expectations and it is ultimately up to ourselves to resolve them by way of repenting (walking away) from them in order to bring ourselves closer to Christ. Plus let’s face it, there are worser things committed by other human beings including political leaders on this planet that, with all honesty, warrant much more attention & condemnation than a few petty incidents from a relatively unknown member of the public giving a lazy dog owner a telling off & wrongly throwing an empty Pepsi cup through a car window.
On the subject of the churches, though I must emphasise not every one of them does the following and it does exclude those based churches & pastors who talk about these things online as well as offline, it became quite obvious over the years that many of them do not educate their parishioners via their sermons the very basics of the 10 Commandments such as 'Do not take the Lord's name in vain', do not swear, do not view other men & women as idols, do not get too obsessed with worldly things (which would also include Football as the national sport here), etc, in fact they seem to just tolerate it as if it's just a normal part of human life instead of biblically teaching their parishioners to give themselves to Christ according to what is taught. Many of the churches themselves also went along with enforcing government-mandated Covid Lockdowns and medical restrictions to the point where parishioners would harass other ones for daring to not wear a mask or even get the certain jag. It’s also rather sad that an increasing number of them have adopted more progressive stances on LGBT issues to the detriment of what was originally taught in the bible, the very book that subscribe to. I've primarily had the misfortune of being judged by other people (in my case, that would also include these attitudes aimed toward Yours Truly since for daring to politely decline the choice of eating & drinking certain foods & drinks which wouldn't be harmful to others (this would particularly include anything with processed sugar, crisps, cakes, biscuits, traditional black tea & coffee as well as soft drinks) but would be to me since from experience I've got to be careful about what I consume lest it would backfire on me badly due to the gastritis I have had since very late 2019. This type of behaviour, even in the vast majority of the populace which would include potential future employers, greatly disappoints me especially in the case of Church parishioners considering that the biblical quote 'your body is your temple' talks about treating your body kindly instead of being gluttonous. Speaking of that quote, it's also weird that many churches also don't teach their parishioners during sermons, especially the young ones, about saving losing your virginity to the love of your life until marriage as an adult, presumably because they don't want to look weird to everyone around them but they also ought to push the Conservative talking point that having 2 parents in the household to raise a child or more children, plus enjoying the s-x saved up in their own privacy in appropriate settings (away from everyone else including the kids, of course!), actually helps to create a happy more culturally prosperous household and therefore spilling the effects onto general society as well. It shouldn't be so controversial to even mention these issues but alas we are in the days of increasingly extreme political correctness.
In some areas of wanting to be close to Christ, I've had some struggles including with the lines drawn at Forgiving Others (I've done this with some enemies but not others) but also when it comes to the advice given by Christian bloggers & teachers about not delighting in the misfortune of others as well as being pushed to preach the word of Christ in the street even though some other people already do that. There were admittedly these issues combined with struggling to support my ability to eat the correct foods re: earlier mentioned gastritis issues, plus issues of judgement that I felt were improperly placed on me by a few senior members of a local church very close to where I live claiming I somehow didn't dedicate my week enough to Christ even though I take part in long prayers every single afternoon (evenings come along if afternoons don't work), just mainly from answering a small part of how my week went, caused me to leave the only local Based church in the town I live in. To clarify, there are plenty of nice people including the Pastor & Parishioners at that church, the same can’t always be said about everyone. The point being is we all have our struggles in life and we all thankfully have each other to help & assist in getting through it as much as we can. This seems insane given that it can feel lonely in the offline general society (or not if you are with the right folk), which would include if you tune into Mainstream Media channels, but not so online, again depending on where you tune in. Mind you, I personally don't identify as being a Catholic (My Dad has been a Catholic all his life and my mother is only one by default since she married him back in 1993 & originally was raised in the Protestant Church of Scotland), although I did get baptised into the Catholic Faith as a baby with the name Michael included during that event, but I pray only to Christ excluding any other figures including the Virgin Mary and also don't see how taking part in communion & confessing my sins to only one particular living man (the bible says we should confess our sins to everyone, not just one man) will bring me closer to Christ & fits with the bible. I do, however, respect some of the traditions the Catholic Church follows including beautiful hymns backed up by the equally great instrumentation, praying in public which would include making prayers for others, making smoke around certain areas of the church during a service when it is appropriate, getting us to kiss the cross of Christ during the Easter Services and making the effort to foster & maintain a close community. That being said, I also don’t see the point of joining the Church of Scotland considering that the real church itself belongs to Christ and for reasons highlighted earlier about what is being preached about nowadays but I would add the bonus of sticking their heads out on certain controversial issues to side with the political establishment instead of taking into consideration the opinions of other members of their church. There are some occasions whereby my mother tries to pressure me to try and practice as well as believe in Reiki which looks attractive on the outside but when one has to take a deeper dive into the practice as well as the world of Spirituality including New Age Ideology which it is closely linked to, many objections in my mind still pop up including what their takes on the likes of Free Speech, Self-Defence, Government Authoritarianism and acknowledging legitimate concerns about real world issues would involve, given that many of these bloggers & teachers overwhelmingly lean politically towards being left-wing to far-left progressives who probably would object to my views and kick me out of their community anyway. Hopefully my take will not offend and upset you the reader at all to the point where it causes more religious division and you can understand where I'm coming from.
Anyways, have a Happy New Year and God Bless You!
